the ocean is the salt that i taste before i go underwater. the sand and the waves, lovers under the moon, a passionate tango to the hum of a perpetual game of cat and mouse. the ocean is the specks of gold in your eyes, the 4 am sunrises that makes me think of everything and nothing all at once. the ocean is love and all the other good things, because in the daily symphonies of the ocean, i find myself at home.
God looks at you not as you “should” be, but as you could be.
The institutional church culture often forces what you “should” do — should be reading more Bible, should be evangelizing, should be nicer, should sing louder, should should should.
